How to read the map
Open Find a chapter on the Chapters overview to search by school or state. Zoom the map to see accepted schools. A pin marks the recorded city when we have one, otherwise the recorded state, not a street address. Lake Norman Charter High School in Huntersville, North Carolina is on that map as a founding chapter because it was accepted.
If your school is not there, it has not been accepted yet, or it has not applied. Starting a chapter is the path. Searching harder will not invent a listing.
Joining versus starting
Students join through their chapter advisor after the chapter exists. There is no public student signup that skips the school. Advisors add a name, email, and grade. The student gets a link, chooses a password, and uses the student portal only.
